After a successful career in the commercial and residential construction management industry on Kauai and Oahu, Jenai entered real estate with a uniquely specialized knowledge of the market, the building industry and the people of Hawaii. She is dedicated to total customer satisfaction throughout the sometimes hectic and detailed process of buying and selling real estate and specializes in the market areas of both Kauai and Oahu. Her practical knowledge of construction project management gives her a professional foundation in navigating logistical challenges and establishing business relationships. Project management sharpened her negotiation skills and executive management techniques while her luxury residential background allows her the resources to navigate Hawaii's unique permitting and building methods. Jenai guides her clients through the process with clarity, respect and patience as she knows Hawai`i and the local community through and through.
A native of California, Jenai is a second-generation Realtor. Her family ran a successful Northern California real estate brokerage for over 40 years that at one time managed 120 agents. Her father, Jim Haley, is a licensed broker in both California and Hawaii and is her team partner as he is a member of the Oceanfront Sotheby's `ohana. Jenai graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa as a water polo collegiate athlete with a BA in Psychology and later pursued a MA in Human Performance. Following college, she worked for her family’s real estate firm, entered the construction management industry, and coached Hawai`i's youth in water polo at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus on Oahu. She is a member of the Honolulu Habitat for Humanity's Development Committee and a volunteer small business mentor for SCORE Hawaii. She previously served as Vice-Chair of Kauai County’s CSW and Vice-Chair of the Honolulu NAWIC Chapter Scholarship Foundation.
Studied, accomplished and well-traveled, she is poised to assist with any real estate need. Jenai is currently the sales manager for one of Hawaii’s newest affordable housing projects, The Block 803 Waimanu and Ohana Hale, which involves working closely with the Hawaii’s Housing Agencies HCDA & HHFDC. In 2016, Jenai was awarded the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certificate by the National Association of Realtors for assisting military personnel, veterans and their families make the best use of their benefits. She provides resources and assistance to current and former military service members at any stage of their military career. In the rare moments when she is not working, Jenai enjoys swimming, coaching youth water polo and travelling with her husband and two young children.
